Tragic Incident in Pune: Techie Jumps to Death with 4-Year-Old Son

In a deeply distressing incident, a 35-year-old software engineer in Pune allegedly jumped to her death from the terrace of a seven-story building, holding her four-year-old son. The incident took place in the Pimple Saudagar area on Wednesday evening, sending shockwaves through the community.

The deceased software engineer has been identified as Swati Kale, a resident of Shri Ram Society in Pimple Saudagar. According to initial reports, Swati, who was suffering from depression, took this extreme step.

Witnesses claim that they heard a loud thud and rushed to the spot, only to find the bodies of Swati and her son lying in a pool of blood. Both were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they were declared brought dead.

Police officials who reached the spot found a suicide note, allegedly written by Swati, in which she mentioned that nobody was responsible for her extreme step. The note also mentioned her battle with depression and the inability to cope with it.

Swati’s husband, who works with a private company in Hinjewadi, was not at home when the incident occurred. He rushed home immediately after being informed of the tragedy.

The police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the matter further. They are also questioning the family members and neighbors to understand the circumstances that led to this tragic incident.

Swati’s untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the entire neighborhood, with many expressing disbelief and sadness over the incident.
