CCTV footage revealed that the Maruti Swift, driven by Tiwari, passed by a woman waiting to cross the road and collided with a divider.
Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi’s brother-in-law, Rajesh Tiwari, tragically passed away in an accident in Dhanbad on Saturday. Tiwari and his wife Sabita Tiwari, who is Mr. Tripathi’s sister, were traveling from Bihar’s Gopalganj to Kolkata when the accident occurred on the Delhi-Kolkata NH-19 a little after 3 pm.

Tiwari succumbed to his injuries at the accident site, while his wife remains in critical condition.
CCTV footage of the highway crash shows the Maruti Swift, driven by Tiwari, passing a woman waiting to cross the road before colliding with a divider, resulting in the accident.
After the accident, Ms. Tiwari was rushed to Shahid Nirmal Mahato Medical College in Dhanbad, where she is currently under observation. According to the doctors, she has sustained a severe head injury, which has been confirmed by a CT scan.
The relatives of the Tiwaris have informed Mr. Tripathi, the star of Mirzapur.
