In a recent interview with news agency ANI, Janhvi discussed her character, Mahima, in the film. She mentioned that Mahima’s personality resonates with her late mother’s ebullient and vivacious roles. Janhvi expressed her desire to portray a spirited and lively character, which she believes she hasn’t had the chance to do yet. She emphasized that her character in “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi” is funny and strong, and she hopes the audience will perceive it the same way after watching the film.

In describing her character, Janhvi mentioned, “My character’s name is Mahima, affectionately called Mahi. She deeply loves her husband and embodies innocence. Despite believing she lives life on her terms, she actually follows others’ directives, whether it’s her father’s or her husband’s. She hasn’t yet discovered how to assert herself and make her own decisions. This journey of self-discovery is what she undergoes in the film.”
