Despite Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor’s decision to stay off social media, his pictures and videos often go viral. Recently, a set of his old school day photos resurfaced and are currently making waves on social media. Shared by a fan page, the first image shows Ranbir and a friend posing for the camera, both wearing white shirts covered in scribbles, probably signatures from their classmates to mark a special occasion. In a second photo, he is joined by two other friends, giving us major school farewell day vibes. Once the fan club shared the photos, they quickly garnered numerous likes and comments.
Fans are actively speculating about the identity of Ranbir’s mystery friend in the picture. Names like Ayan Mukerji, Bosco Martis, Dev Patel, Vikramaditya Motwane, Amol Pinge, Arjun Bijlani, and even Tusshar Kapoor are being thrown around. One fan even suggested: “Ayan Mukherjee or Manoj Bajpayee,” giving an idea of the wide range of names being guessed. Adding to the speculation, astrologer and wellness coach Ramona J. Mordecai has claimed to be the girl in the second picture. In the comments section, she wrote: “It’s me in the second one,” adding, “For many years, the Internet uses this picture and puts this picture up on teachers day and tells the world that I’m his teacher, but we were in the same batch together.”

Amidst the various names being speculated, it turns out that Arjun Bijlani is the only one who was actually Ranbir Kapoor’s classmate. Ranbir revealed this on an episode of Star Plus’ Ravivaar With Star Parivaar. He praised Arjun, saying: “People don’t know that we know each other from childhood. We were in the same school, the same class, and the same house for football. It feels so great to see everything that you are doing. The fact that you are a father, and you are such a great host and all the work that you do. It’s really heartwarming to see a colleague of mine, a friend of mine do so well.”

Currently, Ranbir Kapoor is busy shooting for “Ramayana,” portraying the character of Lord Rama.
In a recent post, filmmaker Karan Johar, who directed Ranbir Kapoor in the 2016 project “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” shared his experience of working with the star. He wrote: “I got to know and understand “the Ranbir process” and deeply respect it…. He never let his homework or his hard work be apparent to anyone … I got to know and love him as a person and appreciate his detachment from stardom or movie star trappings… his child-like portrayal of a broken-hearted lover went beyond the written word… Anushka and he were such a treat to direct … they have mutual friendship and respect which transcended from personal to celluloid perfectly!”
Currently, Ranbir Kapoor is filming for “Ramayana,” where he portrays the character of Lord Rama.
