“On Thursday, Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, revealed that he, from jail, has instructed Aam Aadmi Party MLAs to visit their constituencies daily to prevent people from encountering any issues.”
In a post on X platform, the AAP stated, “Arvind Kejriwal has conveyed a message to all MLAs. Despite my confinement, the residents of Delhi must not endure any hardships. Each MLA is urged to visit their respective areas daily, engage with constituents about their concerns, and resolve them promptly.”
In his message from jail, Kejriwal emphasized, “Address every concern encountered by anyone. And I’m not just referring to resolving government-related issues; we should also strive to tackle other challenges faced by the people.”
“The 2 crore residents of Delhi are like family to me, and it’s my aim that no member of my family should face unhappiness for any reason. May everyone be blessed, Jai Hind!”
Kejriwal was apprehended by the federal investigative agency on March 21 in connection with a money laundering case related to the now-abolished excise policy of his administration and remains in judicial custody until April 15.
Earlier today, the Delhi High Court rejected a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking the removal of Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister following his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case associated with the excise policy.
