Youtuber Elvish Yadav has been accused of assault in Gurugram, with allegations suggesting an attempt to harm the victim’s spine.

The altercation began when Thakur, also known as Maxtern, commented on Yadav’s encounter with Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui. Thakur expressed distress over the spread of hate and propaganda by Elvish fan pages in recent months.

Youtuber Elvish Yadav, winner of Bigg Boss and a popular content creator, has been charged with assaulting a content creator based in Delhi on Friday. A video purportedly showing the alleged assault in Gurugram emerged on social media.

The complainant, Sagar Thakur, residing in Delhi, alleged that Yadav attempted to fracture his spine and issued death threats.

Thakur, a content creator boasting over 1.6 million YouTube subscribers, 890,000 Instagram followers, and 250,000 followers on another platform, stated in his complaint that he and Yadav have been acquainted since 2021.

The conflict ensued when Thakur, known as Maxtern, made a remark about Yadav’s encounter with Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui. “Over the past few months, fan pages dedicated to Elvish have been disseminating hate and propaganda, which has caused me distress,” Thakur explained.

Thakur recounted that Yadav requested to meet him on Friday under the guise of a “discussion,” which Thakur accepted. However, upon arrival at the designated location, Thakur found himself confronted by Yadav and his 8-10 intoxicated associates who initiated physical assault and hurled abusive language. Thakur alleged that Yadav attempted to cause severe harm, aiming to incapacitate him physically. Before departing, Yadav purportedly issued death threats, leaving Thakur in a state of near unconsciousness due to the severity of the assault.
The incident occurred approximately at 12:30 am on Friday, as mentioned by Thakur. Subsequent to Thakur’s complaint, an FIR was lodged against Yadav and accomplices under IPC sections 147 (related to riots), 149 (pertaining to unlawful assembly), 323 (for causing hurt), and 506 (regarding criminal intimidation) at Sector 53 Police Station on Friday evening, according to police sources.
