Over four individuals wounded following a section of Gokulpuri metro station crumbles in Delhi: Official reports.

Four individuals sustained injuries when a section of Gokulpuri metro station collapsed on Thursday morning, according to a fire official.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) (north east) Joy Tirkey confirmed the incident, stating that the slab fell at approximately 10 a.m.

A fire official reported that fire trucks, accompanied by police personnel, were present at the scene, with some vehicles trapped beneath the debris.

According to a fire department official, a call was received at 11:10 a.m., prompting the dispatch of six fire tenders.

“The incident occurred on an operational metro line when a side slab collapsed,” stated the official.

Two individuals were rescued from the debris and transported to GTB Hospital, while the remaining two were rescued prior to the arrival of fire services personnel.

Authorities reported damage to several bikes and noted that a portion of the slab remained suspended.
