Fungus found on a Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate bar has caused a debate.

Research indicates that chocolate can boost mood, but a resident of Hyderabad had a disturbing experience when they found fungus on a Cadbury Dairy Milk bar. The resident, who goes by the handle @goooofboll, shared their experience on Twitter, sparking a viral outcry. The chocolate in question was manufactured in January 2024 and was well within its expiry date.

The tweet quickly gained traction, with many expressing similar experiences and concerns. One user commented, “Why do people still buy and eat Cadbury chocolates, especially Dairy Milk, in India? These are the worst chocolates with poor quality and taste, made for the Indian market.” Another user shared a similar experience, saying, “I had a similar experience with a Dairy Milk bar priced at 100 rupees. I had to throw it away. They should definitely address this issue.”
