“Farhan Akhtar Plans to Bring Back Jee Le Zaraa with Alia, Katrina, and Priyanka; Script Ready!”

There’s been no news on the progress of Jee Le Zaraa, which was announced in 2021 and features Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif.

Reportedly, filmmaker Farhan Akhtar is considering reviving the project “Jee Le Zaraa,” which stars Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Priyanka Chopra. Initially announced in 2021, Farhan had expressed his intention to return to directing with this slice-of-life road trip film. However, due to scheduling conflicts, the movie never progressed beyond the announcement stage.

According to a recent report by Pinkvilla, Farhan Akhtar and the team at Excel Entertainment are exploring the feasibility of resuming work on “Jee Le Zaraa.” Although the project was halted before entering the pre-production phase, the script was continually being refined. Despite facing delays, it remains a passion project for all involved stakeholders. The script is reportedly finalized, and efforts are underway to bring the film back on track.

A source close to the development revealed that Farhan Akhtar has met with Priyanka Chopra during her visit to India to discuss restarting work on “Jee Le Zaraa.” Additionally, he has been in touch with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt to coordinate their schedules. The trio is actively working to align their dates, demonstrating a positive intent to revive the project.

In an interview with Variety last year, Farhan Akhtar attributed the delay to scheduling conflicts, particularly with Priyanka Chopra’s availability amidst an actor’s strike. Despite the setbacks, Farhan expressed his belief in the project’s eventual realization, suggesting that it will happen when the time is right.

The announcement of Farhan Akhtar’s “Jee Le Zaraa” generated significant anticipation, primarily due to its stellar cast and the prospect of another captivating road-trip film akin to “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” but with a women-centric focus. However, the prolonged delay has left fans disappointed, eager for updates on the film’s progress.
