On Tuesday, the singer and actress’s body was discovered hanging from a fan inside her home in the Sitakund area of Kotwali Nagar. Her family is deeply shocked, and neighbors have gathered to offer support. They were seen comforting Malika’s mother. Mallika’s mother, Sumitra Singh, mentioned that they didn’t know what happened initially. “The door was shut, and the light was on. We tried to open it but couldn’t. Finally, I peeked through the window and saw her. When I knocked, I saw our daughter hanging. I called my husband and others, but she was already gone,” she explained.
Regarding the entire incident, Police Officer Shriram Pandey stated that at first glance, it appears to be a suicide case. The confirmation will only come after the post-mortem report. Any additional legal actions will be based on that report.
