Donald Trump Appears Unfazed as Jury Delivers Guilty Verdict on All 34 Counts

Former US President Donald Trump Found Guilty on All 34 Counts for Falsifying Business Records Related to Affair with Stormy Daniels

The 34 counts in the New York hush-money case originated from 11 invoices, 12 vouchers, and 11 checks.

Trump becomes the first US president declared a felon as he eyes White House return.

Judge Merchan expressed gratitude to the 12 jurors, stating, “You gave this matter the attention it deserved, and I thank you for that.”

Once again, Trump labeled the trial as ‘rigged’ and shifted blame to Biden.

Leaving the court while holding his son Eric Trump’s hand, Trump made direct eye contact with Judge Merchan, attempting to voice his thoughts.

Outside the courthouse, the former president reiterated his condemnation of the trial, deeming it a “disgrace” and insisting it was rigged.

“This was a disgrace,” he exclaimed. “This was a rigged trial by a conflicted judge who was corrupt.”

The 45th US president refrained from directly criticizing Biden, stating, “Our whole country is being rigged right now. This was done by the Biden administration in order to wound or hurt an opponent, a political opponent.”

“We will fight for our Constitution. This is long from over,” he asserted while departing. “We don’t have the same country anymore; we have a divided mess.”

Trump appears notably subdued, delivering his customary lines with less animation than usual. Despite his familiar remarks, there’s a discernible somberness in his demeanor, with a glum expression visible on his face.

With Trump’s historic felony conviction on Thursday, a Biden campaign spokesman praised, “No one is above the law.”

“There is still only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: at the ballot box,” the spokesperson emphasized.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg wasted no time in sharing the news on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Today, a jury found Donald J. Trump GUILTY on ALL 34 felony counts.”

The judge presiding over the hush-money trial has set a sentencing hearing for July 11 at 10 a.m. ET.
