Several schools across different areas of Delhi-NCR, including multiple campuses of Delhi Public School, Amity, and Mother Mary’s, received bomb threat emails on Wednesday morning. As a precautionary measure, the schools are being evacuated, and the Delhi Police are conducting thorough searches of the premises, according to officials.

Bomb detection units, bomb disposal teams, and teams from the Delhi Fire Service have been deployed to the schools to conduct search operations.

“Delhi Police received information about a bomb threat at Delhi Public School, Dwarka. Delhi Police, along with the Bomb Disposal Squad and fire tenders, have reached the spot. Search operations are currently underway,” stated the Delhi Police.

Authorities confirmed that similar threats were received by Mother Mary’s in Mayur Vihar, Amity in Saket and Pushp Vihar, DPS Noida, as well as schools in Vasant Kunj, RK Puram, and Sanskriti.

“Initial investigations indicate a similar pattern,” stated the Delhi Police.

“Since yesterday, emails have been sent to numerous locations, following a consistent pattern,” the Delhi Police said.

“The email does not specify a deadline or BCC, indicating that the same message has been sent to multiple locations. The investigation is ongoing,” they added.

Schools have been closed as a precautionary measure.

“DPS Noida has received an email threatening the safety and security of the students. As a precautionary measure, we are sending the students back home immediately,” stated the principal’s office.

“Private commuters are requested to arrange for the immediate collection of their child from the school premises at the respective gates. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding,” it added.

A spokesperson confirmed that Amity Pushp Vihar and Saket also received bomb threats and have been evacuated following police instructions. These schools will remain closed today until further notice.
