It turned out that one of the fans had a blade hidden beneath their fingernail, which inadvertently cut his arm during the handshake. Akshay explained the delayed realization of the injury, stating that it took a few moments for him to register what had happened.
Akshay also expressed his confusion about why some fans resort to extreme actions when meeting celebrities. He mentioned that it seems to stem from a sort of madness or obsession, and he’s unsure of what exactly motivates such behavior.
