Actress Adah Sharma was said to be in the process of purchasing a flat in Mumbai’s Mont Blanc Apartments, which was once inhabited by the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Actress Adah Sharma, known for her role in The Kerala Story, was reportedly considering purchasing a flat in Mumbai’s Mont Blanc Apartments, where the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput once resided. This news sparked curiosity among fans and the public in August. Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise in 2020 deeply saddened the nation, and his body was discovered in that apartment on June 14, 2020. Since then, the flat has seemingly remained vacant. Adah has now addressed this news after maintaining silence for a while.

In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Adah remarked, “At the moment, I’d simply like to say that I reside in everyone’s hearts. There’s a suitable time to speak. When I visited the place, I felt overwhelmed by the media attention. I’m a private individual. Although I enjoy being in the public eye for my films, I’ve always valued my privacy.
Adah Sharma was disheartened by certain comments she encountered regarding Sushant Singh Rajput when news surfaced about his apartment being listed for sale online. She believed it was inappropriate to speak negatively about someone who had passed away. “I also felt that discussing someone who is no longer with us, someone who has created such beautiful films, is wrong. I don’t support that. He’s an actor whom I deeply respect, so I want to ensure that everything concerning him is handled with respect,” expressed Adah. She added, “I don’t appreciate people making casual remarks… I didn’t find it acceptable. I came across some comments about him. You can criticize me, but don’t criticize someone who isn’t here or doesn’t have someone to speak up for them. I’ll discuss my materialistic living arrangements soon, but for now, I’m residing in the hearts of millions, rent-free.”

The spacious duplex 4BHK apartment located in Mont Blanc Apartments offers a breathtaking sea view and spans across 2,500 square feet, including a terrace. Positioned on the sixth floor of Carter Road in Mumbai’s Bandra West, the apartment was listed online by its real estate agent, Rafique Merchant, in December 2022, with the aim of attracting potential tenants or buyers.
