On July 1, rumors spread about Shatrughan Sinha being admitted to the hospital due to a decline in his health. This sparked speculation about the actor facing severe health issues, possibly related to the stress from his daughter Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding a couple of weekends ago. Now, the actor-politician’s son, Luv Sinha, has shared an important health update on social media.
Luv Sinha assures there is no cause for concern
In a note posted on X (formerly Twitter), Luv Sinha reassured fans that Shatrughan Sinha is doing well. He explained that they visited the hospital for a routine checkup due to a high fever. He wrote, “Regarding my father’s health, I’d like to clarify that there was no surgical procedure, and unverified news should not be believed. We took my father to the hospital for his annual checkup and because he had a strong fever. Thank you to everyone who has been concerned.”
Shatrughan Sinha was diagnosed with a high fever and subsequently admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in suburban Mumbai over the weekend. Earlier, Luv Sinha confirmed to Indian Express that his father had been experiencing viral fever and weakness, prompting the decision to admit him to the hospital.
Regarding his absence from his sister’s wedding, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s marriage brought the Sinha family into various controversies. Reports suggested initial unhappiness within the family about the wedding, although Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha attended all ceremonies with a smile, dispelling these rumors. Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha’s absence was notable, with Kush later stating he attended discreetly without being photographed. Luv, however, has yet to explain his absence from both the wedding ceremony and subsequent celebrations.
