The complete list of winners at the 2024 Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards includes Shah Rukh and Nayanthara for their work in “Jawan,” a movie which also featured Deepika Padukone.
The 2024 Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards took place in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. Numerous celebrities graced the grand ceremony, including Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor, Vikrant Massey, Nayanthara, Shahid Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, among others.

Additionally, director Atlee, Shahid Kapoor, and director duo Raj & DK were also honored for their outstanding work last year. At the event, Shah Rukh warmly greeted Rani with a hug and a kiss. However, some fans observed that Kareena seemed to ignore Shahid at the ceremony.
The movie “Jawan” was released in September last year and achieved tremendous success, grossing over ₹1000 crore worldwide. Directed by Atlee, the film featured Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Deepika Padukone, and Sanjay Dutt in extended cameo roles.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Animal” emerged as one of the top-grossing films of 2023. Despite its commercial success, the movie faced criticism for its portrayal of misogyny. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in prominent roles, the film garnered attention for its controversial themes.
“Animal” delves into the complexities of a strained father-son dynamic, with Ranbir portraying Rannvijay Singh, who seeks vengeance following an assassination attempt on his father. The movie amassed an impressive box office revenue of over ₹800 crore.
