“Pushpa 2: The Rule” unveils its second song, “Sooseki,” with Rashmika Mandanna’s Srivalli showcasing an enticing new dance move in the behind-the-scenes teaser.
Anticipation for the sequel to Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s “Pushpa” is at an all-time high. Recently, the makers unveiled a teaser for the second single from the film, which will highlight both Srivalli (Rashmika Mandanna) and her Saami (Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj). The song is set to release on May 29, with “Pushpa 2: The Rule” hitting theaters on August 15, 2024.

The upcoming track guarantees to captivate audiences, much like the infectious “Saami Saami” from the first installment, Pushpa: The Rise (2021). Sharing the news on X (formerly known as Twitter), Pushpa’s producers, Mythri Movie Makers, posted, “The couple song announcement video.” On YouTube, they announced, “Get ready for the ultimate ‘Sooseki’ experience! Rashmika unveils a new dance step! Song dropping on May 29, 2024. Stay tuned!”
Recently, the first track from the film, “Pushpa Pushpa,” was released in six languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali. In the video, Allu Arjun, portraying Pushpa Raj, showcases his stylish dance moves while holding a glass of tea in one hand.
The clip concludes with Pushpa delivering his iconic line, “Jhukega nahi” (won’t bow down), accompanied by his signature shoulder shrug. Once again, music director Devi Shri Prasad, who received a National Award for his work on “Pushpa: The Rise,” has composed the new tracks for “Pushpa 2.”
After its release in December 2021, “Pushpa: The Rise” garnered immense attention, leaving fans eagerly awaiting its sequel. Allu Arjun, who leads the cast, was honored with a National Film Award in 2023 for his outstanding performance in the 2021 film.
In the initial installment of Pushpa, the narrative unfolded amid power struggles entwined with the illegal trade of red sandalwood, helmed by director Sukumar. Pushpa 2 will witness the return of Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in their respective roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The film is slated for release in Telugu, along with several other South Indian languages and Hindi.
