Poonam Pandey’s passing has been confirmed by her team, as reported by News18. Her team stated, “She passed away last night.” The news initially surfaced through a post on her official Instagram account, which read, “This morning brings heavy hearts as we share the devastating news of losing our dear Poonam to cervical cancer. Her presence radiated pure love and kindness to all who knew her. During this period of mourning, we kindly request privacy as we cherish the memories we shared with her.”

The sudden news has left many in disbelief. Comments expressing shock and condolences flooded in, with one reading, “I can’t believe this, really??” and another adding, “Om Shanti.” Numerous individuals found it difficult to accept the reality of the news and sought additional details regarding her passing.

Poonam Pandey gained widespread recognition as a model, particularly after garnering attention with a bold promise prior to the 2011 Cricket World Cup final.
