Siddharth shared that the first thing his wife, Aditi Rao Hydari, does every morning brings tears to his eyes.
Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth rekindled their love and, after secretly dating, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on September 16, 2024. They chose a 400-year-old temple in Telangana’s Wanaparthy district for their spiritually infused South Indian wedding. The couple donned Sabyasachi outfits, and their photos beautifully captured the depth of their love.
Siddharth shared what his wife, Aditi Rao Hydari, does first thing every morning.
Just before their wedding, the couple sat down for an interview with Vogue. During a playful ‘Tell the Truth’ segment, where they had to complete each other’s sentences, they revealed some fun facts, highlighting the depth of their connection. The video started with Aditi asking, “If left unattended, Sid will…” Siddharth promptly responded, “Wither and die,” which sent them both into fits of laughter.
When asked about the first thing Aditi Rao Hydari does in the morning, Siddharth quickly responded that she wakes him up against his will. Aditi playfully countered, saying one should rise with the sun. Siddharth defended his stance, adding:
“I wake up reluctantly and in tears that my day has begun. Now, the one person in the world who relishes this moment, almost like taking candy from a baby, is this person (Aditi).“
Aditi Rao Hydari became a Sabyasachi bride on her wedding day, choosing a handwoven Maheshwari tissue lehenga paired with a Banarasi tissue dupatta from Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s Heritage textile collection. She completed her look with the designer’s heritage jewelry. Meanwhile, her husband, Siddharth, donned a silk kurta, handwoven Banarasi dhoti, and a veshti.
During the Galatta Golden Stars event, Siddharth was asked about his engagement with Aditi. The actor clarified that it wasn’t a secret, despite popular belief. Close family and friends were invited to a private ceremony held at the Sri Ranganayaka Swamy Temple in Telangana. He was quoted saying:
“Many told me we had done this (get engaged) in secret. There’s a big difference between doing something privately with family and in secret. The ones whom we didn’t invite think it’s a secret, but the ones who were there know it was private.”
Siddharth admitted he was nervous about whether Aditi would accept his proposal, which was his biggest concern. He also touched on their wedding date, explaining that it would be decided by their elders, as it’s a “lifetime date” and not just a shooting schedule.
