Mithun Chakraborty, a seasoned actor and BJP leader, was hospitalized in Kolkata after experiencing chest discomfort on Saturday. He was admitted around 10.30 am due to feeling uneasy, and is presently receiving medical care. His health status continues to be a cause for worry.
The hospital spokesperson mentioned that Chakraborty was admitted this morning and is currently undergoing medical assessment. Further information will be provided at a later time.
According to a doctor at the hospital speaking to PTI, the MRI results are still pending, and Mithun Chakraborty is presently in the ITU under the care of a neuromedicine specialist. As of now, there has been no confirmation or official statement from Mithun Chakraborty’s family.
Recently, Mithun Chakraborty, known for his role as a judge on Dance Bangla Dance, was honored with the prestigious Padma Bhushan in January 2024. His illustrious career, spanning over 350 films across various Indian languages, left him in disbelief upon learning of the Padma Bhushan recognition.
