Actor Meera Chopra is preparing to tie the knot with Rakshit Kejriwal on March 12 in Jaipur. The festivities kicked off with Meera’s mehendi and sangeet ceremonies, which took place on Monday. Numerous pictures and videos captured the joyful atmosphere of the celebrations.
During the sangeet, a video surfaced showing Meera’s cousin Siddharth Chopra, brother of Priyanka Chopra, engaging in a musical duet with actor Arjan Bajwa. Additionally, snapshots from the event showcased Meera and Rakshit posing alongside their guests.
Although Meera Chopra shares a cousinly bond with actors Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Parineeti Chopra, neither of them made an appearance at her mehendi and sangeet ceremony.

As per reports, the haldi ceremony is scheduled for noon on March 12. Following this, the pheras are set to take place on Tuesday evening. The wedding festivities will wrap up with a dinner and reception.
During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Meera mentioned, “There wasn’t a strong bond between us from the beginning, where we’d appear as close friends here. That would be insincere. However, I can attest that in the industry, when several girls enter together, they often support each other. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. I never sought assistance, and it wasn’t extended to me either. I’m not inclined to ask for help, and likewise, they never offered any.”
On her special day, Meera Chopra was radiant in a red lehenga, while groom Rakshit looked suave in an ivory sherwani. The wedding ceremony was held at the Buena Vista Luxury Garden Spa Resort, situated on the Jaipur-Delhi highway.

On March 11, the couple celebrated their mehndi, haldi, and sangeet ceremonies, which were graced by a host of Meera’s industry pals, including Sandeep Singh, Anand Pandit, Arjan Bajwa, and Gaurav Chopra.
