Mahindra & Mahindra launched the highly anticipated Mahindra XUV 3XO in the Indian market on Monday, with prices starting from Rs 7.49 lakh. This compact SUV, a facelifted version of the popular XUV 300, comes with updated design, features, and safety enhancements. Bookings for the XUV 3XO will open online and at Mahindra dealerships from May 15, 2024, with deliveries set to commence from May 26, 2024.
The XUV 3XO boasts a distinctive and eye-catching design, characterized by a bold and athletic silhouette. Its front fascia features a sleek piano black finish on the grille, along with LED Headlamps, LED DRLs, and LED Fog Lamps. At the rear, the infinity LED tail lamp accentuates the vehicle’s wide and stable stance.
Inside, the XUV 3XO offers a premium and modern ambiance. The cabin features luxurious Ivory color interiors, complemented by soft-touch leatherette dashboard extending to the door trims and leatherette seat upholstery, enhancing the sense of sophistication. Leather accents on the steering wheel, gear knob, and front armrest further contribute to the premium aesthetic.
The XUV 3XO offers an impressive forward visibility angle of 23.7°, setting a new benchmark in its class. Turbo Engine:
The XUV 3XO is powered by a lineup of world-class Turbo engines designed to deliver exhilarating performance and superior efficiency. Continuing the brand’s legacy of offering thrilling performance, both the mStallion TGDi and the Turbo Diesel engines deliver best-in-class power and torque of 96 kW (130 PS) & 230 Nm and 85.8 kW (117 PS) & 300 Nm respectively. The mStallion TGDi achieves 0-60 km/h in just 4.5 seconds while offering a segment-best fuel efficiency of 20.1 km/l* with manual transmission.
Equipped with a 6-speed AISIN 3rd Gen Automatic Transmission, known for its durability and reliability, the XUV 3XO ensures smooth gear shifts and is optimized to deliver excellent fuel efficiency along with a ‘fun-to-drive’ experience. This transmission has proven its reliability in the XUV 700, which uses a transmission from the same family.
Each engine is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and the option of a 6-speed AISIN automatic transmission for the petrol engines, and 6-Speed AutoSHIFT+ for the diesel variants.
Segment-Leading Features:
The XUV 3XO introduces the first-in-segment MTV-CL (Multi-Tuned Valve Concentric Land) technology. It features an advanced suspension system, including MacPherson Strut Fully Independent Front Suspension and a Twist Beam Semi-independent Rear Suspension. The gasoline variant of the XUV 3XO offers a level of quietness comparable to that of the XUV 700 gasoline model.

The XUV 3XO showcases advanced safety elements, such as a 360-degree camera featuring a Blind View Monitor, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with hill hold and descent control. It is equipped with six airbags, four disc brakes, three-point seat belts with reminders for all seats, and a passenger airbag on/off option for child safety. Moreover, the vehicle provides ISO-FIX child seats with top-tether, along with various other safety enhancements.
