Kannada actor Pavitra Jayaram lost her life in a car accident in Hyderabad on May 12. Sadly, she died at the scene, while her fellow passengers sustained serious injuries.
Renowned television actor Pavitra Jayaram passed away in a tragic road accident on Sunday, May 12, in Hyderabad. According to IANS, her car was hit by a bus. At the time of the incident, she was accompanied by her sister, Apeksha, driver Srikant, and actor husband Chandrakant. The others involved in the accident, reportedly near Mehboob Nagar in Hyderabad, sustained serious injuries.

Pavitra Jayaram was en route to Hanakere in Mandya district, Karnataka, when the accident occurred. According to the IANS report, Pavitra’s car initially lost control and collided with a divider. Subsequently, a bus reportedly crashed into her car. Tragically, Pavitra succumbed to her injuries on the spot, while the others sustained serious injuries.
Chandrakant, her husband, shared their last photo together with an emotional message.
Pavitra Jayaram, known for her role in the popular TV serial ‘Trinayani’, has left the Kannada and Telugu television industries in a state of shock due to her sudden demise.
Actor Sameeip Acharyaa expressed his condolences to her family and fans through his social media account. He wrote, “Waking up to the news of your passing feels unbelievable. You were my first on-screen mother, and you will always hold a special place in my heart.”
Pavitra Jayaram was a well-known figure in both the Telugu and Kannada entertainment industries. She gained fame through her roles in popular projects like ‘Tillottama’, ‘Trinayani’, and ‘Bucchi Naidu Kandriga’.
