“I’m sufficiently brown”: SRK’s bold retort on his suitability for portraying a Bond antagonist.

Shah Rukh Khan graced the World Governments Summit (WGS) in Dubai, where he reenacted the legendary James Bond dialogue and candidly acknowledged his belief that he’s vertically challenged for the role of Bond.

Shah Rukh Khan’s James Bond Moment

During the World Governments Summit 2024 in Dubai on February 14, Shah Rukh Khan delighted audiences by recreating an iconic James Bond dialogue. As one of the speakers at the event, Khan shared insights into his rise to fame and his aspirations, including his long-standing desire to portray the British secret agent, James Bond.

The Candid Conversation

In a session titled ‘The Making Of A Star: A conversation With Shah Rukh Khan’, the actor humorously addressed his wish to play James Bond, noting his perceived limitation of height for the role. He jokingly remarked that he is “too short” to embody the suave agent but quipped that he’s “brown enough to play the Bond baddie”.

Aspirations and Reflections

During the event, Khan also expressed his desire to star in a film that would resonate with global audiences. He emphasized his commitment to delivering impactful performances and mentioned his plans to continue acting for another 35 years before considering retirement.

Professional Success

Reflecting on his recent projects, Khan’s appearance at the summit followed his last film, ‘Dunki’, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. In 2023, he made a triumphant return to the screen with three successful releases: ‘Pathaan’, ‘Jawan’, and ‘Dunki’. These films marked a significant comeback for Khan after a hiatus of four years and solidified his position as a powerhouse in the Indian film industry.
