Former Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) supremo K. Chandrashekar Rao, popularly known as KCR, was hospitalized on Thursday night after he suffered a hip fracture following a fall at his farmhouse in Erravalli.
According to reports, the 69-year-old leader slipped and fell at around 2:30 am. He was immediately rushed to Yashoda Hospitals in Somajiguda, Hyderabad, where he is undergoing treatment.
A BRS party leader close to KCR’s family confirmed the news and said that he is undergoing surgery. “He suffered a hairline fracture. Otherwise, he is well,” the leader, said.
