A fatality has been reported following an explosion in a transformer owned by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), situated roadside in Solu village near Alandi on Thursday.
The blast triggered fires in nearby residences, leading to the explosion of a cylinder in one of the houses, causing injuries to approximately eight to ten people.
Swift action was taken to transport all wounded individuals to the nearest hospital for immediate medical care.
