Alia Bhatt applauds the performances of Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar in “12th Fail”: ‘I am amazed.’

After watching ’12th Fail,’ Alia Bhatt praised Vikrant Massey’s performance in the biographical drama. On Tuesday, the actor took to her Instagram story, sharing the movie poster and expressing her thoughts.

Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, ’12th Fail’ centers around UPSC aspirants and is grounded in real-life experiences, depicting the challenging journey of millions of students attempting the UPSC entrance exam.

Speaking about his role in the film, Vikrant Massey had shared with ANI, “The movie is a very typical Vidhu Vinod Chopra movie, which is based on hard reality and is a very hard-hitting film. The role was very challenging. I had to lose weight and darken my skin.”

12th Fail’ hit theaters on October 27, encountering a box office clash with Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Tejas’.

In terms of her professional commitments, Alia Bhatt is set to feature in director Vasan Bala’s upcoming project, ‘Jigra’. Additionally, she is part of the cast for ‘Jee Le Zaraa,’ directed by Farhan Akhtar, alongside Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in pivotal roles.
