Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 wrapped up on Sunday after a thrilling season filled with daring stunts. Actor Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the winner, defeating Krishna Shroff and Gashmeer Mahajani. Karan successfully completed the final, heart-stopping stunt, which involved a combination of water and air with a helicopter twist. His victory not only secured him the trophy but also a ₹20 lakh cash prize and a brand-new Hyundai Creta. The finale was attended by various celebrities, including Jigra stars Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, along with Laughter Chefs participants Bharti Singh, Nia Sharma, and Kashmera Shah. Hosted by Rohit Shetty, the show was filmed in Romania.
Reacting to his win, Karan Veer Mehra expressed that the feeling of victory has “not sunk in” yet, but he is thrilled. “More than the anticipation of winning the show, there was a hope that I could secure the trophy. I think everyone felt that way. But when my name was announced, it was like time slowed down, and I had no idea what was happening around me. I almost fainted when Rohit Shetty sir announced my name… It wouldn’t look good for the winner of KKK to faint,” Karan shared with Times of India.
When asked if winning Khatron Ke Khiladi would be a turning point in his career, Karan Veer Mehra replied, “I will soon find out how this trophy will impact my career. Naturally, my options and the work I’m receiving have increased. However, I believe I’m too established in the industry to make any drastic changes. I can only portray different characters, which I plan to do. Perhaps I might get a pay raise because of this, but otherwise, I think it will be the same routine.”
Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 began on July 27 with 12 participants. Contestants included Asim Riaz, Sumona Chakravarti, Gashmeer Mahajani, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Shalin Bhanot, Karan Veer Mehra, Krishna Shroff, Ashish Mehrotra, Shilpa Shinde, Abhishek Kumar, Aditi Sharma, and Niyati Fatnani, all competing for the title. The show aired on Colors TV and was also available for streaming on JioCinema.
