“Netizens Criticize Rohit Shetty’s Approach to Indian Police Force, Labeling it as Ineffective”

Rohit Shetty is a popular filmmaker in Bollywood known for blockbuster movies like Chennai Express, Golmaal series, Singham series, Sooryavanshi, and Simmba. His successful track record demonstrates that Shetty understands what the audience likes and delivers movies that resonate with them.

Rohit Shetty, a renowned figure in Bollywood, has given us major hits like Chennai Express, Golmaal, Singham series, Sooryavanshi, and Simmba. Clearly, he understands what the audience wants. However, things haven’t been going well since his last theatrical release, Cirkus.

Cirkus, based on Gulzar’s successful Angoor, seemed like a guaranteed success. Shetty is known for creating hilarious situations, as seen in Bol Bachchan and the Golmaal series. Despite this, Cirkus didn’t impress the audience.

The trend continued with his debut OTT series, Indian Police Force, set to stream on Amazon Prime from January 19. With established actors like Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, and Shilpa Shetty in lead roles, the posters, teasers, and clips released so far have disappointed fans.

Critics online are expressing strong disapproval of the content, with many labeling it as subpar. Several users have gone so far as to deem the Indian Police Force series as ‘trash,’ with only a few acknowledging Sidharth Malhotra’s commendable portrayal as a cop.

A specific user, identified as X, criticized Rohit Shetty’s work, denoting it as exceptionally amateurish, particularly highlighting the poor quality of CGI. This critic even suggested that even YouTubers are producing better content.

The prevailing question among netizens is about Rohit Shetty’s missteps. A user astutely pointed out that the director of Dilwale seems unwilling to adapt and is still relying on an outdated formula that is no longer resonating with audiences. This observation gains traction as recent years have witnessed the success of blockbusters such as RRR, Pathaan, Jawan, Salaar, Gadar 2, KGF, Animal, and others, featuring high-octane action, fast-paced narratives, and meticulous editing.

In an era where VFX and CGI allow imaginations to soar, fans no longer find satisfaction in the traditional tropes of flying cars and clichéd slow-motion action scenes that have been a trademark of Rohit Shetty’s films. Presently, Shetty is in the process of creating “Singham Again,” the third installment in his Singham franchise.

The anticipation is that the star power of Ajay Devgn and the intrigue surrounding Deepika Padukone’s dynamic portrayal as a formidable cop will draw audiences to the theaters.
