Sonakshi Sinha’s Brother Posts Cryptic Message Amid Her Wedding to Zaheer Iqbal: ‘The Problem With…’

Luv Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha’s brother, previously declined to comment on her wedding to Zaheer Iqbal, stating that he had ‘no involvement’ in the matter.

Actress Sonakshi Sinha is set to marry her boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, after seven years of dating. However, unverified rumors suggest that her father, actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha, is upset as he was unaware of the upcoming wedding. Amidst this, Sonakshi’s brother, Luv Sinha, posted a throwback photo from his trip to Baku on Instagram. Notably, Luv does not follow Sonakshi on Instagram (as of the time of writing).

In his post, Luv wrote, “The problem with time is, that we never have enough of it. #Memories #Baku #Throwback #Streetphotography #Christmas #Nightlife #A7R5.”

Previously, Luv responded to reports about Sonakshi’s wedding to Zaheer Iqbal in an interview with ETimes. Currently out of the city, Luv chose to remain silent on the matter, telling ETimes, “I’m out of Mumbai at the moment, and if it’s regarding the news published, I have no comment or involvement in the matter.”

Meanwhile, Pahlaj Nihalani, who refers to himself as Sonakshi’s ‘mama’, claimed that Shatrughan Sinha is upset with Sonakshi for not informing him about her wedding plans. Initially, Shatrughan admitted he was unaware of the wedding.

When asked for his reaction, Nihalani confirmed that Shatrughan was indeed upset but noted that it wouldn’t last long. He also mentioned that Shatrughan would be attending the ceremony.

Speaking with Times Now/Zoom, Pahlaj Nihalani said, “Yes, he is upset, but he can’t stay upset for long, especially with Sonakshi. She is his darling. There’s no question of him not attending the wedding. As Shatruji mentioned, nowadays children inform their parents, they don’t ask for permission. Why should he be upset if Sonakshi is marrying the boy of her choice? Shatruji himself married the girl of his choice forty years ago. Even I chose my own life partner when I married my wife. One should not have unrealistic expectations from their children.”

For context, Shatrughan had told Times Now/Zoom that he had no clue about Sonakshi’s wedding, saying, “People close to me are asking why I am unaware of this supposed wedding, while the media knows about it. All I can say is, nowadays children don’t seek their parents’ consent, they just inform them. We are waiting to be informed.”
