According to a report from Bollywood Hungama, Shah Rukh Khan is being rushed to the US for eye surgery. A source informed the portal that SRK visited a Mumbai hospital on Monday, July 29, for eye treatment, but the procedure did not go as planned. The source added that SRK is now being sent to the US to address the issues. However, details about the specific treatment Shah Rukh underwent and what went wrong have not been disclosed. According to a report from Zoom, Shah Rukh Khan had already undergone eye surgery before Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. The report states that SRK had cataract surgery on one eye in Mumbai and had the second eye treated in the US. Despite these surgeries, some issues with his eyes persist. The actor has not yet commented on the reports regarding his eye surgery.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan, who dominated the box office in 2023 with hits like Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, is set to star in the upcoming movie King. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film will also mark the big theatrical debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan. Abhishek Bachchan will play the antagonist. Currently in pre-production, the film is expected to begin shooting in August and is scheduled for release in 2025. The music will be composed by Anirudh, who created the hit soundtrack for Jawan.
