Rajinikanth Responds to Daughter’s “Sanghi” Remark, Stating, “My father is a spiritual individual who respects all religions, so why label him as such?”
Superstar Rajinikanth clarified on Monday that his daughter Aishwarya didn’t perceive ‘Sanghi’ as a negative term, but rather expressed her view that he is a spiritual individual.
She remarked, “Dad is a spiritual person who embraces all religions, so why should he be labeled as such (a Sanghi),” the renowned actor explained.
Responding to claims that Aishwarya addressed the issue to promote the movie “Lal Salaam,” he dismissed the notion, stating “there’s nothing like that.” “Lal Salaam” is directed by Aishwarya and is scheduled for release on February 9, featuring Rajinikanth in the cast.
The term ‘Sanghi’ colloquially refers to a supporter or activist of the Right wing.
Aishwarya’s reported remarks on the word, particularly when directed at her father, sparked lively debate in various circles.
