An orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Ghosh mentioned that he can still earn his livelihood. “Many believed Sandip Ghosh would never resign. I am honest. Since taking over, I have cracked down on corruption and worked for the hospital’s development and the patients’ welfare,” he said.
Earlier, BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari criticized Dr. Ghosh and called for his suspension. “His misleading statements and careless attitude following this tragic incident reveal his indifference towards the victim,” Mr. Adhikari wrote in a post on X.
