On Saturday morning, Mithun Chakraborty was hospitalized in Kolkata after being diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke) affecting the brain.
Actor Mithun Chakraborty, presently hospitalized in Kolkata, had a meeting with West Bengal BJP chief Sukanta Majumdar on Sunday. A video clip of Mithun was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by news agency ANI.
In the initial video from the hospital, Mithun was seated on his bed inside the hospital room. The doctor reassured him in Hindi, “You’re fine now, the saline drip is running, you’re drinking enough water. Just keep drinking.” Mithun then gestured towards his feet and made a comment.
Sourav Ganguly is scheduled to visit Mithun as well. In the footage, a group of individuals gathered around Mithun’s hospital bed. The video was accompanied by the caption, “West Bengal BJP chief Sukanta Majumdar visited veteran actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty at a private hospital in Kolkata.” Another clip depicted former cricketer Sourav Ganguly arriving at the hospital to meet Mithun.
