According to a source from The Week, actor couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are reportedly anticipating their first child. The report states that Deepika is currently in her second trimester. Speculations arose when Deepika was seen concealing her midriff at the 77th BAFTA red carpet. She wore a shimmery saree and custom jewelry by Sabyasachi Mukherjee for the event.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married on November 14, 2018, at Lake Como in Italy, following a six-year courtship. They initially crossed paths on the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic movie “Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela.” Subsequently, they collaborated on “Bajirao Mastani” and “Padmaavat.” Last November, the couple marked their fifth wedding anniversary with celebrations in Belgium.
In a recent interview with Vogue Singapore in January, Deepika Padukone was asked about her thoughts on becoming a mother. She replied, “Absolutely. Ranveer and I adore children. We eagerly await the day when we can start our own family.”
