Ankita Lokhande might be displeased with her mother-in-law’s recent comments during interviews post her exit from Bigg Boss 17. Vicky Jain’s mother, not adept at public relations, has been providing successive scandalous interviews about the actor and her husband, who are contestants on the reality show. The interviews suggest a possible attempt to garner sympathy.
In an interview with ABP News, Vicky’s mother, seemingly in a drowsy state, addressed Ankita’s frequent mentions of late ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput on the show. She implied, “I think she is trying to gain sympathy for herself. What does Sushant care now? He’s gone. He got all the love when he was alive and did all the great things.” She also mentioned the family’s hurt over witnessing Ankita kicking Vicky, emphasizing the societal reverence for husbands in India.
In another interview with Zoom, the mother-in-law revealed their lack of support for Vicky marrying Ankita. She expressed, “We were never in support of it. Now he is ready to follow through with this relationship, and we don’t have anything to do with it.” Despite observing the situation, she believes Vicky will address and resolve the issues in his marriage.
Vicky’s mother entered the Bigg Boss house, where she told Ankita about her father-in-law’s reaction to witnessing her kicking Vicky during a fight. Ankita, visibly upset, asked her mother-in-law not to involve her mother, especially considering her recent loss.
Kangana Ranaut voiced support for Ankita but emphasized the importance of family over the game. She stated, “Media doing their best to break the family, they won’t show you how @lokhandeankita’s saasuma (mother-in-law) rooting for her.” Kangana expressed hope for Ankita’s victory but not at the expense of her marriage.
