Following a 42-day theatrical run, the Ajay Devgn-led film “Maidaan” is now available for rental on Prime Video at Rs 349.
Once rented, viewers will have a 30-day window to enjoy the period sports drama directed by Amit Sharma. Additionally, they will have 48 hours to complete viewing the inspirational football movie once playback has begun. “Maidaan” delves into the golden era of Indian football during the 1950s and 1960s, with Ajay Devgn portraying coach Syed Abdul Rahim, credited with leading the Indian team to numerous victories. Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh also feature prominently in the film.

Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla, the movie boasts a cast including Madhur Mittal, Chaitanya Sharma, Tejas Ravishankar, Davinder Gill, Amartya Ray, and Sushant Waydande. A.R. Rahman has composed the film’s soundtrack, featuring five songs performed by Javed Ali, Richa Sharma, Hiral Viradia, Nakul Abhyankar, Vaishali Samant, MC Heam, and Rahman himself.
“Maidaan,” released on April 11, faced box office competition with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.” According to industry-tracking portal Sacnilk, it garnered a worldwide gross of Rs 70.75 crore.
