Aamir Khan celebrated his mother Zeenat Hussain’s 90th birthday with a grand party on Thursday. The celebration, held on June 13, included Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan, his ex-wives Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta, veteran actor Asha Parekh, along with close friends and family. Aamir reportedly invited guests from Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mysore, and other cities to join the festivities.
Inside photos from the birthday party show Aamir Khan, dressed in a white sherwani, assisting his mother in cutting her pink and white birthday cake. Guests including Asha Parekh, Ira Khan, and Kiran Rao can be seen standing behind them, clapping. Another photo captured Ira cutting a teapot-themed cake, with her mother Reena, grandmother Zeenat, father Aamir, and Kiran looking on. For the party, Ira repurposed her wedding blouse, pairing it with a cream saree. In another candid shot, Aamir is seen sitting on the floor next to his mother during the celebration.
Juhi Chawla reunites with Aamir at the party
Aamir Khan’s Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak co-star, Juhi Chawla, also attended the celebration. She shared a picture on Instagram Stories featuring herself, Aamir, and his sister, captioning it, “So happy to meet all the family at Ammi’s special birthday!” Juhi and Aamir have previously worked together in films like Ishq, Andaz Apna Apna, and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke.

According to The Indian Express, Aamir Khan flew in over 200 guests from various cities to Mumbai for Zeenat Hussain’s 90th birthday celebration. A source close to the actor revealed, “Aamir Khan is bringing in over 200 family members and friends from different cities to celebrate his mother’s birthday on June 13th. She has been unwell for over a year, and now that she has recovered and is doing well, everyone wanted to have a large get-together. Family and friends from all over India, including Banaras, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mysore, and other cities, will gather to celebrate this special day.”
