Shared by Shah Rukh Khan on Wednesday, the two-minute-38-second trailer introduces Vaishali Singh, who relentlessly pursues the truth despite opposition from her family, leading her into trouble. When she decides to investigate the exploitation of girls at a local shelter in Uttar Pradesh’s Munawwarpur, she disrupts the status quo. Aditya Srivastava, known for his role in C.I.D., portrays the corrupt owner of the shelter.

When she decides to delve into the exploitation of girls at a local shelter in Uttar Pradesh’s Munawwarpur, she stirs up controversy. Aditya Srivastava, known for his role in C.I.D., portrays the corrupt owner of the shelter. With the assistance of her acquaintance Mr. Bhaskar, Vaishali fights for the rights of the girls at the shelter, despite her colleagues urging her to drop the case to avoid angering influential figures. Her dedication begins to affect her family life, as her husband Arvind (Surya Sharma) points out that she’s become personally involved in the case rather than maintaining a professional distance. The trailer concludes with Vaishali directly addressing the audience: “Do you still consider yourself a human, or are you a predator (bhakshak)?”


Bhumi also posted the trailer on her Instagram account. “Human or Predator? The time has come to choose!! #Bhakshak, a film inspired by true events, releasing on February 9th, exclusively on Netflix,” wrote the 34-year-old actress in the caption.
Announced by the production banner on Tuesday with a film poster, the direct-to-digital crime thriller, inspired by real events, will be available on Netflix starting February 9.
Directed by Pulkit, Bhakshak marks Red Chillies Entertainment’s debut in digital production following their 2022 film Darlings starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, and Vijay Verma. The crime thriller also stars Sanjay Mishra and Sai Tamhankar in pivotal roles.
