Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain engage in a serious discussion in the weekend episodes of Bigg Boss 17.
Ankita Lokhande shared more surprising details about her conversation with her mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain, during the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes of Bigg Boss 17. Earlier, Vicky Jain and Ankita’s mothers had visited the Bigg Boss house to spend time with the couple. Previously, it was disclosed that Vicky’s father called Ankita’s mom, Vandana Lokhande, after Ankita threw a slipper at Vicky, questioning if she treated her husband the same way. Now, Ankita revealed more about the controversial chat.
Asking Vicky if he trusts her, Ankita went on to share, “Meri mummy ko papa (Vicky’s father) ne phone kiya tha. (He asked) ‘Aap aapke pati ko aisi maarti thi kya chappal jute phek ke?’ Papa ne aur bhi bola tha. (He said) ‘Aapki aukat kya hai?’ I politely told mummy that she was alone, my papa recently passed away. I genuinely felt guilty and apologized to her. Later, my mom revealed that Papa had told her many other things. But I asked her to not bring this up,” conveying the complexity of the situation to Vicky.
In response, the contestant from Bigg Boss 17 asked, “How would your father have reacted? He wouldn’t have liked it. He would have expressed his feelings in some way. Is this a different feeling or the same?” Vicky expressed his concern, feeling that there might be an attempt to depict his family as wealthy and egoistic, while Ankita’s family is portrayed as enduring suffering. Vicky mentioned that Ankita is handling the situation by herself and taking on all the challenges.
Ankita attempted to explain her perspective, emphasizing that there is no intention to depict the family in a negative light. However, Vicky admitted that it feels like there is such an attempt. Ankita then asked, “Did you ever notice this, even after everything happened in the therapy room?” Vicky responded, “What is the truth, Ankita? What do you think?”
The actress affirmed that Vicky is an ideal husband, supporting her through thick and thin. Vicky then asked her, “Does my family interfere in your career, in our life, or in what you wear and how you live?” Ankita denied any interference but acknowledged, “Our mothers haven’t seen us like this, so it must be affecting them. I have earned a lot of respect and love in your house. I don’t want to lose that because of these fights. That’s why I have been apologizing. I am ready to say sorry a thousand times.”
It remains to be seen how this conversation will impact their relationship. Ankita and Vicky have been married for over two years now, having dated for a few years before tying the knot in December 2021.
